Northern AZ ES/JH Solo and Ensemble Online Submissions

Directors, please read the following instructions carefully before submitting your students’ performances for AzMEA Solo and Ensemble Northern Site.

1. These submissions are meant to replicate a live solo and ensemble setting. Auditions should be a video file and students should dress appropriately for a recital performance (as available to them). A scan of a prepared score (e.g. numbered measures) should accompany each submission.
2. Video submissions and scores should follow the naming format:
   • Ensemble: School Name – Ensemble [Examples: Page MS – Viola Duet 1; Northland Prep – Brass Quartet 3]
   • Solo: School Name – Student Name (Instrument) [Examples: Prescott Mile High MS – John Doe (Percussion)]
   • Scores – Begin the file name with Score followed by the name of the event from above [Examples: Score Page MS – Viola Duet 1; Score Prescott Mile High MS – John Doe (Percussion)]
3. Click on the appropriate link below which will open up a Dropbox file request in a new tab.
4. Make sure you are not logged into Dropbox in your internet browser. Look in the top right hand corner of the Dropbox file request. It should say Sign In (don’t do it though). If you see your name, click on it and Sign Out. If you are logged in to your account when you upload your files, they will automatically be tagged with your name which will affect getting information back to you on your students’ performances in a timely manner.
5. Choose the file(s) for ONE instrument type at a time from your computer. Make sure to submit scores alongside your video submissions through the same dropbox link.
6. Very Important: When asked for your name and email address…
   • Your Name – Your name (School) [Example: Alex Moore (Page MS)]
   • Email Address: your actual email address – used for an email confirmation that your recordings have been submitted (keep for you records).
